Much better, if still similar, than the developers last game, Pineview Drive. There are some really great puzzles here, the only real gripe I have is that you must complete the "level" before it saves your progress. I found that it ran better than Pineview, but could still use some more optimization. Recommended.. Overall 8.5/10Fluidity could be better at some point (or it's just my pc but i heard a lot about it)puzzles are rather nice and the flow of the game itself is insanely addictiveSoundtrack really is intense when you love those kind of detailsThere is a lot of part that are sort of hard to complete (if you are on hard mode)A bit too dark if you ask me , in-game brightness maxed and yet had to make a custom set for it every time with nvidia (+60 brightness) than it became not too bright or too dark (played 1/3 with in-game brightness maxed had a hard time)Flashlight is not lasting long enoughCandle that can be extinguished by wind blow and all make you waste matches easily (like a candle being blown right after you lit it ... yeah right thanks)But in the end the ambience and puzzles are such a thrill it's a most play to any horror/puzzle fan (and don't expect an action game it,s pretty straight forward at some point but figuring out how to advantage with the soundtrack is sooo amazing). Obscurities (Pineview Drive 2)Obscuritas is a mediocre horror adventure. The story is weak, and the impressive amount of backtracking is frustrating. Technically speaking, the game doesn't stand a chance against other eminent competitors (like Outlast and SOMA). The game is not a complete failure, however: it has a good variety of puzzles and a perceptible tension.. Good game, not a scary and bloody horror, but it is good and atmospheric, with unique puzzles. Controller is recommended.. I enjoyed the game, good music atmasphere graphics arent bad too dark in certain places flashlight can be annoying when running low on batteries. The first half an hour is good in the mansion finding keys which is what you do throughout the entire game but the mansion has an extra 50 rooms or so that you cant see from the outside.And there is also a portal which you go through and the developers chuck everything horror they can think of to you theme park horror carnival of horror mental asylum cemetery to name a few some of the puzzles are mind blowing so had to use youtube for some walkthroughs as I said I enjoyed it wont play again for a very long time I am just glad I completed it by shutting down the portal.Thanks for reading.. this game is Fun and hard at the same time if you are stuck you can go on you tube, I like this game and hate it at the same time, The Amusement park is why I like this game being a RCTC Fan is Why I had fun playing it, The Bad, The puzzles can be hard on same people I like some puzzles, What I Hate the most is the Dogs is Why I quit playing it at the end why waste my time on one part when the dogs keep jumpin on me when I am almost done with the game anyway I will watch the end on youtube I am not going to recommend this game because I did not finish it beginning to end But I did get my money worth out of it.
